İstanbul Taksisi acts as the contact point responsible for the personal data processed through this website and the transfer request operation. Requests concerning your personal data can be submitted using the contact details below.

Personal data we process

Depending on the fields you complete and the way you contact us, the following data may be processed:

• Identity and contact: full name, phone number and optional email address.
• Transfer details: pickup and destination, date, time, vehicle choice, passenger and luggage count, flight number, approximate distance and additional notes.
• Quote and operation records: estimated distance and fare, request status, reference number, operator notes and communication history.
• Technical and source information: selected language, referring page and campaign parameters such as UTM or click identifiers when present in the address.

Payment information: The quote form does not request or store bank card information.

Sensitive information: Please do not include health information, identity document details or other sensitive information in the notes unless strictly necessary for your request.

Purposes and legal grounds

Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary for the following purposes:

• Calculating or manually preparing an estimated transfer fare.
• Responding to the request, checking vehicle availability and organising the transfer.
• Contacting the customer through phone or WhatsApp about the specific request.
• Maintaining request records, preventing duplicate or abusive submissions and protecting website security.
• Fulfilling legal obligations and establishing, exercising or protecting legal rights where necessary.

Under Turkish Law No. 6698, processing may rely on the steps necessary to establish or perform a service relationship, compliance with legal obligations and the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Separate explicit consent is requested only where no other lawful basis applies.

Sharing, service providers and WhatsApp

Personal data is not sold. It may be shared only when necessary and proportionately with:

• Authorised operational personnel and the driver or transport service provider assigned to the request.
• Hosting, server, security and technical support providers used to operate the website.
• Public authorities, courts or law enforcement bodies where disclosure is legally required.

WhatsApp: When you choose to continue through WhatsApp, the prepared message is opened in WhatsApp and the information you send is processed under WhatsApp/Meta’s own terms and privacy practices. Depending on the provider’s infrastructure, this use may involve processing outside Türkiye. You decide whether to send the prepared message.

Retention, deletion and security

Request records are retained for the period reasonably required to respond, manage the operation, handle possible disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. When the purpose and any mandatory retention period end, records are deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the applicable process.

Administrative and technical measures such as restricted panel access, session protection, request validation and protected data directories are used. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

Cookies and browser storage

The current website uses functional storage required for language preference, form security and request continuity.

You can remove cookies and local storage from your browser settings. Disabling essential session storage may prevent the quote or request form from working correctly. If non-essential advertising or analytics technologies are added later, they should be presented through a separate preference or consent mechanism where required.

• Request information about the processing and its purposes.
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
• Request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met.
• Object to a result arising exclusively from automated analysis where applicable.
• Request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
